Comparison
Syften tells you a keyword appeared. We tell you whether it's worth replying to, and whether replying is safe.
Syften is keyword monitoring for developer and founder communities: Reddit, Hacker News, Indie Hackers, Stack Exchange, GitHub, Dev.to and more. Alerts land in email, Slack, RSS or a webhook, typically under a minute. Entry is $29.95/mo, Standard $49.95/mo, PRO $119.95/mo, with a 14-day trial.

Syften deserves a different argument from the others, and it's worth being clear about why. Most Reddit tools draft your reply for you; Syften doesn't, and never has. Alerts only, no generated text, no publishing. On the one thing we criticise the category for, Syften is on the same side we are.
So the comparison isn't about safety, it's about what happens between the alert and the reply. Syften matches keywords. It does that quickly and across more communities than we do, and if you want to know the moment someone says your product name anywhere developers gather, it is genuinely good at that and cheaper than the alternatives for the coverage.
What it leaves to you is triage. A keyword match doesn't distinguish someone asking which tool to buy from someone complaining about a tool they already own from someone writing a tutorial. We score each thread 0-100 for buying intent and separately for fit against your ideal customer, and drop the matches that will never buy. That's the difference between an inbox of 200 mentions and a list of 6 conversations.
The second gap is the reply itself. Syften hands you a link. Whether that subreddit allows promotional links at all, whether your account clears its karma minimum, whether your draft reads as machine-written, and how much you've already posted there today are all still your problem. Those four checks are our product.
Worth saying plainly: for pure brand-mention monitoring across many communities, Syften is the better tool and we're not trying to replace it. Some people run both.
Free plan: 2 subreddits, no card, no time limit. Paid starts at $19/mo. The ban-risk report, AI-writing detector and quota tracking are open on every plan including free.
No. Syften is alerts only, with no reply generation and no publishing. Neither does FindEvo. On that specific point the two tools agree, which is not true of most of this category.
Triage and safety. Syften tells you a keyword matched; we score each thread 0-100 for buying intent and for fit against your ideal customer, and filter out matches that will never buy. Then, before you reply, we report the subreddit's promo rules, match your account against its karma and age minimums, check your draft for machine-written patterns, and track your posting quota for that community.
Not at the entry point. Syften starts at $29.95/mo; FindEvo is $19/mo, with a permanent free plan below that. But Syften covers 15+ communities and we cover Reddit, so per source it's the cheaper tool by some margin.
Yes, and some people do. Syften for broad brand-mention monitoring across developer communities, FindEvo for working Reddit specifically. They don't overlap much.
